I
am studying a Degree in Business (majoring in Accounting) at Edith Cowan
University, Perth, and I am currently in my last semester of the program. Prior
to this prior, I obtained Diploma in Business from the Institute of Education
also in Perth. I am originally from Tanzania in Africa, and I was working in my
country before I relocated to Australia in 2013 to further my education. Upon
arrival, I was initially faced with various challenges due to differences in
cultural and environmental backgrounds. Africa and Australia are two different
countries in terms of culture. At the beginning it was a struggle to cope with
lifestyle here in Perth. I however needed to cope and this made me to become brave.
Traveling
is my main hobby. I visited South Africa in 2012 for Safari tour to see the
beautiful nature of the country. I enjoyed seeing wild animals during the tour
despite that we also have national parks in my country. I have also been to Kenya and Italy.
What the world of internet. The
future holds on our hand. Podcast / YouTube are audio casting to people to whom you can
tell a story about your or their life. Latest version of podcast that launched
in 2017 provide a quality voice note and cover almost every angle of our life
such as sport, politics and normal life (culture). The audio simplify life, people don’t need to reading newspapers or books. You cannot tell a story to someone
through newspapers or book in this generation. It just place button and you
hear a voice anywhere you are, through multiple devices and platforms. If you
have smartphone with iOS, android and web browser. You hear radio, podcast
through the internet. Nevertheless, in the smartphone, you can make and distribute audio to
people or Watch TV on YouTube, Nature, Sport, Environmental in the Facebook or Instagram streaming.
Corporations current use analytics to track data through social media. They collect data from various sources such as Podcast,
YouTube and Netflix, Facebook, Instagram, Snap-chat. This information help them to make good decision regarding to their business. The research I
have done regarding social media, I’m impressed to watch TV through smartphone, listening Podcast radio or anything that interesting at moment. The App is
growing so fast which allow people to access anywhere in the global.
